How to Purchase a Stock Garage Plan

We’ve streamlined the process so you can get started in just a few clicks. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Choose Your Garage Type

Start by selecting the type of garage plan that fits your needs:

  • Single Car Garage Plans
  • Double Car Garage Plans

Each product includes multiple size options that allow you to configure the garage to suit your property and project requirements.

Step 2: Select Your Garage Size and Foundation

Once you're on the product page, you’ll be able to select your preferred garage width and depth from the available size options. This allows you to configure the garage plan to suit your property, storage needs, and intended use.

You will also choose the garage foundation type for your project:

Slab on Grade - A common and cost-effective foundation option typically used for smaller garages.

Concrete Block, Poured Concrete, or ICF Frost Wall - These foundations are often required for larger garages to meet Ontario Building Code requirements and provide a stable, frost-protected structure.

Some garage sizes are only available with a frost wall foundation due to building code requirements. If you prefer a slab-on-grade foundation for a larger garage design, we can customize the garage plans and provide the required engineered drawings.

Stock foundation options may vary depending on the specific garage plan you choose. If you require a different foundation configuration, simply request a customization and we will be happy to provide a quote.

Step 3: Add to Cart and Checkout

Once your size and foundation type are selected, simply click “Add to Cart.”

When you proceed to checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your project details, including:

  • Homeowner’s full name
  • Project address
  • Municipality
  • Email address (where the digital PDF plan set will be delivered)

That’s it! Complete your checkout and we’ll email your permit-ready garage plans directly to you.

Want to Customize Your Garage Plan? No Problem.

If you'd like to personalize your garage beyond the standard options, our customization process is just as easy.

Here’s how to customize a stock plan:

After selecting the garage width, depth, and foundation, click the "Customize Garage Plan" button located just below those options.

From there, you can select from a list of affordable customizations, including:

  • Increase wall height - $30
  • Change the type of siding - $30
  • Add, move, or change windows and doors - $50
  • Add drywall and insulation - $30
  • Change roof pitch - $45
  • Change roofing material - $30
  • Need something else? Select Additional Services for a $100 deposit (further fees may apply depending on complexity)

Once You’ve Selected Your Custom Options:

Click Add to Cart and follow the same easy checkout steps:

  1. Enter project details (name, address, municipality, email)
  2. Complete your purchase
  3. We’ll get to work customizing your garage plan and sending you everything you need for permit submission
